Easy Gluten Free Low Carb Apple Crisp With Almond Flour

Delicious and simple Apple Crisp that suites any diet! This quick and easy recipe uses unpeeled apples for simplicity. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9" square baking dish with non stick spray. Slice your apples.

Place the sliced apples in a large bowl. Add the lemon juice, xanthan gum, cinnamon and nutmeg, mix to combine. Bake for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a medium mixing bowl, make your topping by mixing everything together until well combined.

Once the apples have baked for 20 minutes, carefully give them a quick stir and spread them evenly again in your pan. Pour your topping mixture evenly over your apple filling. Return the oven and bake for 20-25 more minutes, until the filling is bubbling around the edges and the top is nice and golden.
