The Caramel Apple Trifle is a delectable and visually stunning dessert featuring layers of cooked cinnamon apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon whipped cream, and crunchy granola.
Combine your apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a medium pan, toss to coat. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until the apples are your preferred softness. Set aside and allow to cool for 15-120 minutes.
Make your cinnamon whipped cream by placing all of your whipped cream ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk until stiff peaks form.
Once everything is made and ready, assemble your trifles! Place an even layer of whipped cream, then topped with about 2 tbsp of granola, then about 2 tbsp of apples, and top the apples with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Repeat!
You can enjoy right away or store in the fridge for 2-3 hours until ready to serve.
