  • Place parchment paper into a small loaf pan and set aside.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat on the stove, melt your butter. Whisk your swerve into the butter until combined.
  • Add your sugar-free syrup into your saucepan, and whisk to combine.
  • Let the mixture cook over medium heat without stirring for about 10-15 minutes, and then check it for consistency. You should have frothy bubbles.
  • Once it has become frothy with bubbles and is thickened, cook for an additional minute before removing it from the heat.
  • Whisk in the vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
  • Pour mixture into your prepared loaf pan. Freeze until set, 4 hours to overnight.
  • Remove the solid candy from your loaf pan, and slice into the size and shape of a tootsie roll.
  • Place into a small piece of parchment paper for wrapping or leave it as is. Enjoy!
