Place parchment paper into a small loaf pan and set aside.
In a saucepan over medium heat on the stove, melt your butter. Whisk your swerve into the butter until combined.
Add your sugar-free syrup into your saucepan, and whisk to combine.
Let the mixture cook over medium heat without stirring for about 10-15 minutes, and then check it for consistency. You should have frothy bubbles.
Once it has become frothy with bubbles and is thickened, cook for an additional minute before removing it from the heat.
Whisk in the vanilla extract and cocoa powder.
Pour mixture into your prepared loaf pan. Freeze until set, 4 hours to overnight.
Remove the solid candy from your loaf pan, and slice into the size and shape of a tootsie roll.
Place into a small piece of parchment paper for wrapping or leave it as is. Enjoy!
