Ingredients
  

  • 12 medium apples SLICED. mix of granny smith, honey crisp, and gala
  • 2 medium oranges peeled, cut, and quarted
  • 1 tbsp whole cloves
  • 4 sticks of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 16-20 cups water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup swerve brown sugar replacement

Instructions
 

  • Add your apples, oranges, cloves, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg to a large stockpot.
  • Add water until everything is covered, and heat over high until the water is simmering.
  • Simmer for 2 to 2/5 hours, until your apples are soft. Smash your apples and oranges with a potato masher and carefully drain through a metal sieve. Discard your fruit and whole spices.
  • Stir in your vanilla extract and brown sugar replacement.
  • Serve warm, room temperature, or cold. Enjoy!
