In a separate mixing bowl beat together your oil, eggs, milk, orange juice, and orange extract until combined. Add in your dry ingredients and stir to combine, do not overmix. Pour in hot water and mix together.
Pour your cake batter evenly in to each of your prepared pans. Bake for 25-27 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in to the middle comes out almost clean. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
