Ingredients
  

  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup blackberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Place your water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add your blackberries and salt. Stir to coat the blackberries in the syrup. Bring to a simmer, and simmer 10-15 minutes until the syrup is very fragrant and darker in color.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass airtight container. Allow to cool, enjoy!
