Method
- Place your water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves.
- Add your blackberries and salt. Stir to coat the blackberries in the syrup. Bring to a simmer, and simmer 10-15 minutes until the syrup is very fragrant and darker in color.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a glass airtight container. Allow to cool, enjoy!
