Method
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line an 8x8 inch square pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together your flour, baking powder, and salt until combined. In separate bowl, add your sugars and vegan butter. Using a hand or stand mixer, cream together until combined.
- Add your butter mixture to your flour mixture. Mix in your vanilla extract and apple sauce. Mix together until just combined. Fold in your chocolate chips.
- Transfer your batter into your prepared pan. Bake for 15-17 minutes, until the edges are just starting to brown and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out almost clean.
