Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Method

  1. Cut the stems off of your strawberries
  2. In a saucepan over medium-high heat stir your strawberries and lemon juice
  3. Cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. As your strawberries start to break down you can use a wooden spoon or masher to make your strawberry chunks smaller if desired.
  4. Now, add in your sugar and stir until combined and it has dissolved.
  5. Carefully pour your jam into a jar to store in the fridge - don't worry it will start to thicken into a jam like consistency as it cools. Enjoy!
