- 1 cup milk of choice I like oat or cashew
- 1 chai tea bag
- 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
- 2 tsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice can use more or less to taste
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions To Make Pumpkin Chai Latte
- Pour your milk in a small pot and heat over medium-high heat, bring the milk to an almost simmer. Immediately remove it from the heat. Do not let it boil.
- Add in your tea bag and allow to steep for 5 minutes.
- While that is steeping, in a separate small bowl mix together your pumpkin puree, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla.
- Once your tea is done steeping, take the tea bag out and whisk in your pumpkin mixture into the tea mixture until smooth and combined. If it’s hot enough for you, pour into a coffee mug and top with frothed milk if desired. If you’d like it warmer, you can reheat it over medium heat on the stovetop. Enjoy!
