Simple, moist, quick, and easy Gluten Free Chocolate Cake. This recipe has a secret ingredient that amplifies the chocolatey goodness.

I am currently obsessed with this Healthy Sugar Free Low Calorie Almond Milk Shamrock Shake and No Bake Keto Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bars, and OF COURSE this healthy chocolate cake! I whipped this up and enjoyed it for my birthday, which of course, made my birthday so very sweet! For my birthday cake I combined two of my favorite things – chocolate and cream cheese. You really can’t go wrong with this recipe!
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE KETO CHOCOLATE CAKE
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup brewed coffee, room temperature
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing:
- 8 oz package cream cheese, room temp
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temp
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions To Make Chocolate Cake
*For a double layer cake, simply double the recipe and bake in two 7-inch pans.
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 7 inch cake pan. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all of your dry ingredients, then add in the rest of your ingredients and mix until just combined. Pour cake batter into your prepared cake pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool completely before frosting. To make frosting whisk together all of your ingredients and spread over your cake. Slice and enjoy!
