Instructions To Make Strawberry Cake Pops

  1. Prepare and bake your cake according to the instructions on the box.
  2. Allow your cake to cool completely. Once cooled crumble your cake in to fine crumbs with a fork in a large bowl. If you want to use cake mixture crumbs for a decorative topping, remove about 1/3 cup and set aside.
  3. Mix your frosting in to the crumbled cake, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until chilled.
  4. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop and your hands to roll the cake mixture into evenly sized balls and place on cookie sheet.
  5. Freeze until the cake balls are hard.
  6. Once frozen, melt your white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted. Dip each lollipop stick into the chocolate, then stick into one of the cake balls.
  7. Do this with all of them and put back in freezer till they are solidified.
  8. Gently dip the balls into the melted chocolate, letting the excess chocolate drizzle off. Decorate with the cake crumbs you removed if desired.
  9. Allow chocolate coating to harden, enjoy!
