- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 1 cup cream cheese icing store bought
- 12 oz white chocolate
Instructions To Make Strawberry Cake Pops
- Prepare and bake your cake according to the instructions on the box.
- Allow your cake to cool completely. Once cooled crumble your cake in to fine crumbs with a fork in a large bowl. If you want to use cake mixture crumbs for a decorative topping, remove about 1/3 cup and set aside.
- Mix your frosting in to the crumbled cake, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until chilled.
- Line a large baking tray with parchment paper. Use a cookie scoop and your hands to roll the cake mixture into evenly sized balls and place on cookie sheet.
- Freeze until the cake balls are hard.
- Once frozen, melt your white chocolate in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until fully melted. Dip each lollipop stick into the chocolate, then stick into one of the cake balls.
- Do this with all of them and put back in freezer till they are solidified.
- Gently dip the balls into the melted chocolate, letting the excess chocolate drizzle off. Decorate with the cake crumbs you removed if desired.
- Allow chocolate coating to harden, enjoy!
