Instructions To Make Triple Chocolate Muffins

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and line a 12 muffin tin with muffin liners, set aside.
  2. In 30 second increments, melt your butter and chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl, stirring in between every increment. Continue until fully melted.
  3. In a large bowl whisk your oil, eggs, sugar, brown sugar, and milk until smooth. Pour your melted chocolate and butter mix into the bowl and and whisk until combined.
  4. Add your flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Whisk until just combined, do not overmix.
  5. Fold in your chocolate chips and chunks into the batter.
  6. Evenly divide your batter in your prepared liners, the liners should be about ¾ full.
  7. Bake your muffins at 400 for 5 minutes before lowering the heat to 350 degrees F (without opening the oven door) and bake for 10-13 minutes or a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out almost clean, there should be some crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
