INGREDIENTS YOU NEED
- 2 cups all purpose flour OR 1:1 gluten free flour with xanthan gum
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Donut Glaze:
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk of choice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 7 oreos crushed
Instructions To Make Oreo Donut
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and spray a silicone donut pan with non stick spray and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together your cups of flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together your melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Add your bowl of dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and whisk until combined.
- Fill your donut pan about 3/4 full with your donut batter. Bake in your preheated oven for 10 – 12 minutes. Allow to cool in the donut pan for at least 8 minutes and then carefully transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completley.
- Prepare your glaze by mixing all of your ingredients together, except for the crushed oreos, adding 1 tbsp of milk at a time until you have your desired consistency.
- Dip the tops of your cooled donuts into your glaze, and sprinkle with your crushed oreos. Place donut back on your cooling rack to allow the icing to set. Once set, enjoy!
