Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts are packed with apple cider flavor, cinnamon and nutmeg. This baked donut recipe is perfect for the fall!

These donuts make for an absolutely perfect fall and autumn treat and is ready in no time at all! Fall always makes me think of a nice crisp apple and these donuts bring that flavor right to you but in the form of a baked good! The cinnamon sugar coating is completely perfect for this flavor of donut – I can’t get enough!
INGREDIENTS YOU NEED
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup tapioca flour
- 1 tbs coconut flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbs ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
Coating:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon

How To Make Gluten Free Apple Cider Donuts
- In a small saucepan, add 1 1/2 cups of apple cider. Bring to a boil then simmer for 15 – 20 minutes or until the liquid is reduced to roughly about a 1/2 cup. Set aside to cool (about 20 minutes, or you can make this the night before)
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and spray your donut pan with non stick spray, set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together your apple cider, egg, vanilla extract and almond milk.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together your almond flour, tapioca flour, coconut flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Pour your wet ingredients into your dry ingredients and mix together until well incorporated.
- Spoon or pipe the mixture into the donut pan. Fill it about 3/4 full.
- Once your donuts are out of the oven mix together your coating and once your donut are warm but cool enough to touch, coat them in your cinnamon sugar mix. If you have any trouble getting it to stick you can brush your donut with melted butter. Enjoy!

If you do not have a donut pan, you can use a muffin tin with a rolled up ball of tin foil in the middle so you can still get that donut hole in the middle!
