INGREDIENTS YOU NEED

Eggnog Frosting:
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 5 tbsp eggnog
  • 1 small pinch cinnamon
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions To Make Eggnog Cookies

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together your butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Mix in your egg yolks, one at a time until just combined.
  4. Mix in your vanilla extract and eggnog.
  5. In a large separate bowl, whisk together your flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  6. Mix your flour mix in to your butter mixture and mix until combined.
  7. Using a cookie scoop, scoop your cookie dough on to your prepared baking sheet. Ensure your cookies are placed at least 3 inches apart. Bake for 11-13 minutes.
Eggnog Frosting:
  1. Cream your butter using an electric mixer. Once smooth, add in your eggnog and continue to mix. Add in your cinnamon.
  2. One cup at a time, whisk in your powdered sugar until smooth.
  3. Once your cookies have completely cooled, frost your cookies and enjoy!
