Easy Gluten Free Keto Copycat Reese’s Eggs

Celebrate this Easter with these keto recipes: Carrot cake, chocolate cheesecake, and of course these copycat sugar free reese’s eggs! I seriously can’t get enough of this copycat recipe, they come together very quickly and taste absolutely delicious! You can also make this recipe in a regular mini muffin mold and have regular peanut butter cups too if you do not have a egg mold, but a egg shape sure does make this recipe a lot more fun for the holiday!

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE KETO REESE EGGS

Chocolate:

  • 4 oz sugar free chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter
  • 2 tsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbs powdered monk fruit, or powdered sweetener of choice

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions To Make Sugar Free Reese Eggs

  1. Melt your chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave safe dish for 30 seconds at a time, mixing in between until fully melted.
  2. Using a silicone egg mold, or a silicone mini muffin mold place 1-2 tsp of melted chocolate in bottom of mold. Tilt your mold around to ensure chocolate covers entire surface area. Place silicone mold in your freezer while you make your peanut butter filling.
  3. In a bowl mix together your melted coconut oil, peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth. Add in your powdered sweetener and almond flour and mix again until fully incorporated and smooth.
  4. Grab your now hardened chocolate out of the freezer and place 1 to 1.5 tsp of peanut butter mixture in the middle of your chocolate and spread slightly, making sure not to cover the edges with peanut butter. Top all of your peanut butter chocolate eggs with the rest of your melted chocolate and place mold back in your freezer for about 10 minutes, or until chocolate has hardened.
  5. Gently take your copycat reese eggs out of the silicone mold and enjoy!
