Keto Key Lime Pie is Incredibly delicious and refreshing. This pie is made with regular limes and a no bake filling for ease!

When it comes to easy and healthy pies or cakes to make I love Strawberry Cream Pie, or a good classic New York Cheesecake, and of course, this perfect key lime pie. Let’s be honest though, anything with cream cheese is going to be a winner in my book! Well, cream cheese and whipped cream that is. You can even cut down on the lactose/dairy by buying lactose free cream cheese and making your topping with my easy dairy free sure free whipped cream.

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED

Crust:

  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup ground flax meal
  • 3 tbs monk fruit, or granulated sweetener of choice
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Pie Filling:

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar free sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Optional: 1-2 tbs monk fruit, or granulated sweetener of choice

Topping:

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2-3 tbs powdered monk fruit, or powdered sweetener of choice
  • Optional: sliced limes, for garnish

Instructions To Make Keto Key Lime Pie

  1. Preheat your oven to 340 degrees F, line a 9 inch pie dish with non stick spray and set aside.
  2. Mix all of your crust ingredients together until well incorporated and spread evenly in your prepared pie dish. Bake crust for 12 minutes and set aside to completely cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl whisk your cream cheese until smooth and then whisk in your lime juice and sugar free condensed milk.
  4. Whisk in your heavy cream and whisk until smooth and creamy. Add in your extra granulated sweetener if you would like pie a bit sweeter.
  5. Pour your pie filling in your cooled crust and transfer into your fridge for at least 4 hours, but overnight is preferred.
  6. Once your pie has set in the fridge, make your topping by whipping your cream and sweetener with a whisk and spread over top of your pie. Top with garnish if desired cut into equal pieces and enjoy!

No! I actually used just a regular pie pan for this pie. You certainly can use a springform pan if you have one, but there is no need to go out and buy one if you do not have one.

Do I have to use key limes?

No! I created this recipe using regular limes from my local grocery store. If you live anywhere near me, it is practically impossible to find key limes so regular ones are just fine for this version.

Can I freeze a key lime pie?

Yes, slice the pie and place your pie pieces in a shallow container and it should keep in the freezer for about 6 months.

Can I make a key lime pie ahead of time?

Yes! This pie actually requires a resting time in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, but overnight is preferred.
