I like the taste, but I didn’t not get the crispness I was hoping for. Do u think it was the butter? I know traditional Belgium recipes use melted butter. I did butter the grids slightly & cooked to specs of my black & decker flip Belgium maker.
I am so happy you like the taste! There a couple different factors that can cause the waffles to not crisp up. It could be because your waffle maker was not hot enough, stacking the waffles too soon after cooking (I like to place mine on a wire cooling rack), or over-working the batter.
