Yes, regular limes work just fine! I actually cannot find key limes in my grocery store so I just use regular limes.
Try to use fresh lime juice if a recipe calls for it (whenever possible), as the flavor of fresh lime juice is much brighter and more intense than the bottled variety. If all you can get is bottled then you can use that.

omg I LOVED these
Thank you!
Took these to work and they were a huge hit! The consistency is perfect & flavor is on pointe. I don’t do much baking so I am far from an expert. Not only were they absolutely delicious, they were pretty easy to make too! Thanks for the recipe ❤
Yay! This makes me so happy!
Keto friendly with monk fruit alternatives.
I used the juice of all of one regular lime and finely shredded coconut for an awesome macaroon type result.
I will be tripling the recipe next time! Loved it! Thank you!!!
A light sweet bite, fresh and tasty. Easy to make, I had all the ingredients on hand. I didn’t ice them, I think they are delicious as is.
Great recipe for me to use up some of my limes! I’m curious, are the cookies soft or more on the crisp side? For some reason I thought they were crisp and mine are soft. Still very delicious, but I know I baked them a few minutes longer. I also wonder I didn’t press them down enough. I added 1 T of water and it seemed a bit watery, which I corrected with a bit more powdered sugar and then lime juice to set off the extra sweetness.
I’m glad you liked them! These cookies are a soft cookie 🙂
