This Caramel Apple Trifle is so easy and fast to make you won’t even believe it! This delicious and impressive layered dessert is made with cooked cinnamon apples, caramel sauce, cinnamon whipped cream, and granola.

This recipe has immaculate fall vibes, honestly. Just look at it! The cinnamon, the brown sugar, the apples, the granola, I am drooling just thinking about it. Even I was shocked that this recipe is low carb when I took a bite. You can even make it gluten free depending on what granola you are using, I use my granola recipe and my caramel sauce recipe but you can make this recipe even easier with using store bought. So, time to whip out this crowd pleaser and impress all of your guests or families, or yourself. I am not going to lie, I make this just for myself all the time – it is so good!

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED
- 3 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar OR swerve brown sugar replacement
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar OR powdered monk fruit
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup gluten free granola
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce OR sugar free caramel sauce

Instructions To Make Caramel Apple Trifle
- Combine your apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar in a medium pan, toss to coat. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until the apples are your preferred softness. Set aside and allow to cool for 15-120 minutes.
- Make your cinnamon whipped cream by placing all of your whipped cream ingredients into a large mixing bowl and whisk until stiff peaks form.
- Once everything is made and ready, assemble your trifles! Place an even layer of whipped cream, then topped with about 2 tbsp of granola, then about 2 tbsp of apples, and top the apples with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Repeat!
- You can enjoy right away or store in the fridge for 2-3 hours until ready to serve.
