Oreo spiders are a fun and spooky treat perfect for Halloween or any time you want to add some creepiness to your dessert table. These delightful treats are made using everyone’s favorite sandwich cookie, the Oreo. With a bit of creativity, you can transform these classic cookies into adorable (and slightly creepy) spider-inspired treats.

Oreo spiders are typically made by attaching licorice or pretzel legs to the sides of the Oreo, creating the illusion of a spider. The licorice or pretzel acts as the spider’s legs, with each Oreo having four legs on each side.

Once the legs are attached, you can get creative with the spider’s face. Some people use mini M&M’s or other small candies to create the eyes, while others use black icing or gel icing to draw on the spider’s features. You can also use other small candies to add extra details such as fangs or eyebrows.

The great thing about Oreo spiders is that they are not only delicious but also a lot of fun to make. They make a great activity for kids and adults alike, allowing everyone to get creative and customize their own spiders. Whether you’re planning a Halloween party, a creepy-themed event, or simply want to surprise your loved ones with a spooky treat, Oreo spiders are sure to be a hit. Just make sure to warn your guests that they aren’t real spiders!
