Instructions To Make Halloween Brownies

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a 8×8 pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. Using a large bowl, whisk together your melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar until combined. Then whisk in your eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate medium sized bowl, whisk together your flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  4. Mix your flour mixture into your sugar mixture until just combined, do not overmix.
  5. Evenly spread your brownie batter in to your prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out almost clean. There should be some crumbs on it.
  7. Allow your brownies to cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
  8. Once the brownies have been transferred, melt your marshmallows in a microwave for 30 secs, then stir with a fork. Allow to stand for 2 mins or so, until cool enough to handle, then using your fingers, stretch the mixture over the brownies, pulling and draping it to create a spider web effect. Slice and enjoy!
