Incredibly easy and delicious Keto Twix Bars recipe. A sweet shortbread crust topped with almond butter caramel and chocolate.

You will also love keto nutella and Reese’s. I am VERY excited about this recipe! Twix are one of my favorite candy bars and now I can enjoy a healthy version of them! The shortbread has the perfect crunch, the ‘caramel’ filling has the perfect texture and the chocolate is on point! Incredibly easy and delicious Twix Bar recipe—a sweet shortbread crust topped with almond butter caramel and chocolate. This recipe 100% sugar free, gluten free, and keto friendly. I may or may not have eaten 5 in a row….sorry not sorry. This is the perfect treat right now since we are coming down from the holidays and we are all getting those sugar cravings! So there is no need to run out and buy a sugar filled candy bar, you can whip these up in quick. These are very easy to make and you will get 24 bars out of it! I kept these in my fridge and I like to grab one out of the fridge every single day when I get home from my regular 9-5 job. It is the perfect treat for when you get home or after dinner. You can also bring them in your lunch for the day to help get you to the end of you work day. These bars also freeze well!

INGREDIENTS YOU NEED

Shortbread Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 1/4 cup powdered monk fruit
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbs unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbs water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Filling:

  • 1/2 cup natural almond butter
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered monk fruit
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • optional: 2-3 drops caramel stevia drops

Topping:

  • 1/2 cup sugar free chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Instructions To Make Keto Twix Bars

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line an 8×8 pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. In a medium-size mixing bowl, stir almond flour, powdered monk fruit, and salt. Add in water, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir until it comes together, and you can form a dough ball.
  3. Press the dough into your prepared pan until it evenly covers the bottom of the pan. Use a rubber spatula to smoothen the top. Bake 12-15 minutes. Once baked, allow to cool for at least 15 minutes and then make your filling.
  4. To make filling, place your butter in a sauce pan over medium heat, let it melt and bubble, stirring constantly, until butter starts to brown. As soon as it starts to brown remove from heat and add in your almond butter, powdered monk fruit, vanilla, and caramel drops. Mix until combined and smooth. Pour evenly over your cooled crust and place in the fridge to set.
  5. Once your filling is set, melt your chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in short bursts, stirring in between. Once melted evenly pour over your set filling and place in the fridge again for your chocolate topping to set. Once set, cut and enjoy!
